Building Project Yoakley Annexe

The Charity’s Board is currently working on a project to build an annexe to Yoakley House with 32 additional rooms for short term care. As well as general respite care, these will include rooms funded by local GPs to avoid their elderly patients going into hospital unnecessarily and beds funded by the NHS which will serve as convalescence and rehabilitation facilities after a hospital stay. As with previous developments, the Board is confident that this project will help to meet the needs of the elderly of the current and future generations. The plans have been drawn up and full planning permission granted.
